Baissoptera brasiliensis
Taxonomy
Baissoptera brasiliensis was named by Oswald (1990). Its type specimen is AMNH 43287, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (AMNH collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
