Gnoriste meigeniana
Taxonomy
Mycetophila meigeniana was named by Heer (1856). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Aix-en-Provence (Murchison collection), which is in a Chattian lacustrine - large limestone in the Niveau du gypse d'Aix Formation of France.
It was recombined as Boletina meigeniana by Förster (1891) and Johannsen (1909); it was recombined as Gnoriste meigeniana by Theobald (1937), Theobald (1937) and Oliveira and Amorim (2021).
