Permagrion falklandicum
Taxonomy
Permagrion falklandicum was named by Tillyard (1928). Its type specimen is NRPS Ar 2168, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bodie Creek Head, Falkland Islands, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Bay of Harbours Formation of Falkland Islands (Malvinas). It is the type species of Permagrion.
