Euchoroptera longipennis
Taxonomy
Euchoroptera longipennis was named by Carpenter (1940) [Dyke Museum of Natural History, University of Kansas]. Its type specimen is KUMIP 1250, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bradford Chandler farm, Anderson County, which is in a Kasimovian estuary/bay shale in the Stanton Formation of Kansas. It is the type species of Euchoroptera.
