Piesbergala leipnerae
Taxonomy
Piesbergala leipnerae was named by Brauckmann and Herd (2002). Its type specimen is Museum am Scholerberg 93, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Piesberg quarry, "Flöz Dreibänke" (Museum am Schölerberg collection), which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine deltaic claystone in the Flöz Dreibänke Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Piesbergala.
