Baissoptera martinsoni
Taxonomy
Baissoptera martinsoni was named by Martynova (1961). Its type specimen is PIN 1668/1852, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 1668, layer 3), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
