Koneprusites was named by Pribyl (1964) [Sepkoski's age data: D Emsi-u D Give-l Sepkoski's reference number: 1106]. It is not extant.
It was assigned to Proetida by Sepkoski (2002); to Tropidocoryphidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Cornuproetinae by Bault et al. (2021).
