Pterinoblattina maculosa
Taxonomy
Valdipsychops maculosus was named by Jepson et al. (2009). Its type specimen is BMB 018575-6, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Auclaye Brickworks (BMB collection), which is in a Barremian lagoonal claystone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Pterinoblattina maculosa by Jepson et al. (2012).
