Taxonomy
Pleuroceratos burmiticus was named by Poinar and Kirejtshuk (2008). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin Amber (Poinar collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Pleuroceratos.
