Kachinitermopsis burmensis
Taxonomy
Kalotermes burmensis was named by Poinar (2009). Its type specimen is OSU B-I-2, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin Amber (Poinar collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Kachinitermopsis.
It was recombined as Kachinitermopsis burmensis by Engel and Delclòs (2010) and Krishna et al. (2013).
