Jersambromyia borodini
Taxonomy
Jersambromyia borodini was named by Grimaldi and Cumming (1999). Its type specimen is AMNH NJ-90O, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is New Jersey amber, Sunrise landing, East Brunswick, which is in a Turonian terrestrial amber in the Raritan Formation of New Jersey. It is the type species of Jersambromyia.
