Avenaphora hispida
Taxonomy
Avenaphora hispida was named by Grimaldi and Cumming (1999). Its type specimen is AMNH L-AE24, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Bchare Mountain (AMNH collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon. It is the type species of Avenaphora.
