Taxonomy
Euryblattula sparsa was named by Martynov (1937). Its type specimen is 55 1/61, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kyzyl-Kiya, which is in a Pliensbachian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in Kyrgyzstan. It is the type species of Euryblattula.
