Taxonomy
Bellingeria cornua was named by Christiansen and Pike (2002). Its type specimen is CAS 724, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (CNC May 1973 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in the Foremost Formation of Canada.
