Taxonomy
Distasis rhipiphora was named by Handlirsch (1904). It is an impression. Its type locality is Belle-et-Bonne coliery, Avaleresse pit, Frameries, which is in a Westphalian C terrestrial siliciclastic in the Flénu Formation of Belgium.
