Taxonomy
Sciadophora bostoni was named by McAlpine and Martin (1966). Its type specimen is CNC 9126, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (P. Boston collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in the Foremost Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Sciadophora.
