Elektrophthiria magnifica
Taxonomy
Elektrophthiria magnifica was named by Nel (2006). Its type specimen is MNHN PA 208, an exoskeleton (male fly), and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Oise amber, Le Quesnoy, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial amber in the Argiles d'lignite du Soissonnais Formation of France. It is the type species of Elektrophthiria.
