Colymbotethis antecessor
Taxonomy
Colymbotethis antecessor was named by Ponomarenko (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 2497/13, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kenderlyk, Akkolka River (PIN collection 2497), which is in a Norian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Tologoi Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Colymbotethis.
