Oxycorynoides (Oxycorynoides) mongolicus

Taxonomy
Oxycorynoides mongolicus was named by Zherikhin (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 3149/979, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Gurvan-Ereny-Nuruu (Outcrop 236/29), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale/sandstone in the Gurvan-Eren Formation of Mongolia.

It was recombined as Oxycorynoides (Oxycorynoides) mongolicus by Legalov (2010), Gratshev and Legalov (2014), Legalov (2015).
