Taxonomy
Cretapsychops corami was named by Jepson et al. (2009). Its type specimen is BMNH Pal.PI II 1555a, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Smokejacks Brickworks, which is in a Barremian pond claystone/siltstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
