Taxonomy
Parahemiphlebia allendaviesi was named by Jarzembowski et al. (1998). Its type specimen is MNEMG 1996.226a,b, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Bed DB175, Swanage (MNEMG collection), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Durlston Formation of the United Kingdom.
