Taxonomy
Epipsychopsis fusca was named by Makarkin (2010). Its type specimen is PIN 1989/55, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 1989, layer 31), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
