Taxonomy
Lobothyris kushlini was named by Dagys (1963). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kastanat-Dzhilga, which is in a Norian/Rhaetian marine limestone in the Bazardarin Formation of Tajikistan.
It was recombined as Pamirothyris kushlini by Xu (1978) and Sandy (1994).
