Agogoblattina occidua
Taxonomy
Oryctoblattina occidua was named by Scudder (1885). Its type specimen is R. D. Lacoe No. 2039, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mazon Creek, USNM Lacoe Collection, which is in a Westphalian D interdistributary bay mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Agogoblattina.
It was recombined as Agogoblattina occidua by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1906) and Handlirsch (1922).
