Mastotermes anglicus
Taxonomy
Mastotermes anglicus was named by von Rosen (1913). Its type specimen is NHML I.15037, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (A'Court Smith collection), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
