Timarchopsis gobiensis
Taxonomy
Timarchopsis gobiensis was named by Ponomarenko (1987). Its type specimen is PIN 3688/1178, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Houtiyn-Hotgor Depression (outcrop 296/14), which is in a Tithonian lacustrine shale in the Ulaan-Ereg Formation of Mongolia.
