Ideliopsis ovalis
Taxonomy
Ideliopsis ovalis was named by Carpenter (1948). Its type specimen is USNM 112018, a forewing (nearly complete forewing & bits of other wings), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Castle Hollow, 2.5 miles south-east of Fulda, which is in an Artinskian terrestrial shale in the Petrolia Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Ideliopsis.
