Trameobasileus moguntiacus
Taxonomy
Trameobasileus moguntiacus was named by Zeuner (1938). Its type specimen is Mainz Natural History Museum 73, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dyckeroff's quarry, Biebrich near Mainz-Castel, which is in an Aquitanian lacustrine lime mudstone in the Hydrobienkalk Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Trameobasileus.
