Liassophyllum abbreviatum
Taxonomy
Liassophyllum abbreviatum was named by Zeuner (1935). Its type specimen is BMNH I. 3382, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Binton, Warwickshire (Slater collection), which is in a Hettangian marine shale/limestone in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Liassophyllum.
