Siphloplecton macrops

Taxonomy
Palingenia macrops was named by Hagen (1856). Its type specimen is MfN MB.I.5150, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was recombined as Siphloplecton macrops by Demoulin (1968), Staniczek and Godunko (2012) and Staniczek and Godunko (2016).
