Taxonomy

Chittidilla was named by King (1941) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Tojo-u Sepkoski's reference number: 885]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Trilobita by Sepkoski (2002); and to Agraulidae by Zhou and Zhen (2008).

Synonyms

Chittidilla (Diandongaspidella) was named by Yuan et al. (1997). It is not extant. Its type is Chittidilla (Diandongaspis) diandongensis.

It was synonymized subjectively with Chittidilla by Jell and Adrain (2002).

It was assigned to Chittidilla by Yuan et al. (1997).
Chittidilla (Diandongaspis) was named by Zhang et al. (1980). It is not extant.

It was replaced with Chittidilla (Diandongaspidella) by Yuan et al. (1997); it was replaced with Diandongaspidella by Jell and Adrain (2002); it was reranked as Diandongaspis by Zhu and Gai (2007).

It was assigned to Chittidilla by Lu and Zhang (1980); and to Polybranchiaspididae by Zhu and Gai (2007).
