Taxonomy
Cavussurella kramtchanini was named by Gramm (1969). Its type specimen is DVGU 1103/256 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rakovka, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Cavussurella.
