Taxonomy

Parandrexis was named by Martynov (1926). Its type is Parandrexis parvula. It is the type genus of Parandrexidae, Parandrexinae.

It was assigned to Cerambycidae by Hong (1983); to Parandrexidae by Kirejtshuk (1994), Soriano et al. (2006); and to Parandrexinae by Kirejtshuk et al. (2023).
