Carrizarroyo calopterus

Taxonomy
Carrizarroyo calopterus was named by Rasnitsyn (2004). Its type specimen is NMMNH P-26916, a wing (wing lacking extreme base), and it is an impression. Its type locality is NMMNH L-3433; Carrizo Arroyo, which is in an Asselian pond mudstone in the Bursum Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Carrizarroyo.
