Mazonopterum wolfforum

Taxonomy
Mazonopterum wolfforum was named by Kukalová-Peck and Richardson (1983). Its type specimen is FMNH PE 15138, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Pipeline excavation, Worthington township, which is in a Westphalian D interdistributary bay shale in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.
