Carrizopteryx lucasi

Taxonomy
Carrizopteryx lucasi was named by Sinitshenkova (2004). Its type specimen is UNM 8174, a forewing (forewing apex), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is NMMNH L-3433; Carrizo Arroyo (UNM collection), which is in an Asselian pond mudstone in the Bursum Formation of New Mexico.
