Tapopterum populus
Taxonomy
Tapopterum populus was named by Aristov (2004). Its type specimen is UNM 6851, a forewing (almost complete forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is NMMNH L-3433; Carrizo Arroyo (UNM collection), which is in an Asselian pond mudstone in the Bursum Formation of New Mexico.
