Heterotermes primaevus
Taxonomy
Heterotermes primaevus was named by Snyder (1960). Its type specimen is UCMP 12679a, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is UCMP B-5103, Las Cruces landslide, Simojovel region, which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.
