Taxonomy
Burmantis asiatica was named by Grimaldi (2003). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (AMNH collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Burmantis.
