Taxonomy
Dasyleptus brongniarti was named by Sharov (1957). Its type specimen is PIN 1197/595, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kaltan (PIN collection 1197), which is in a Roadian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Mitina Formation of the Russian Federation.
