Taxonomy
Permosyne pincombeae was named by Tillyard (1924). It is an impression. Its type locality is Belmont (Pincombe 1922 coll), which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Karakanocoleus pincombeae by Rohdendorf (1961).
