Taxonomy
Altajopanorpa kaltanica was named by Martynova (1948). It is an impression. Its type locality is Kaltan, outcrop 1300 (PIN collection 958), which is in a Roadian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Mitina Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Altajopanorpa.
