Gigagramma carpenteri
Taxonomy
Gigagramma carpenteri was named by Béthoux et al. (2004). Its type specimen is MCZ 10182, a wing (nearly complete right wing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Midco unkown locality, which is in an Artinskian lacustrine limestone in the Wellington Formation of Oklahoma. It is the type species of Gigagramma.
