Taxonomy
Ptyctolorenzella xuzhuangensis was named by Lu and Zhu (2001). It is not extant. Its type locality is Mt. Mantou, Zhangxia, BW65, BW64, which is in a Taijangian marine limestone/shale in the Mantou Formation of China.
