Dictyoptilus peromapteroides
Taxonomy
Cockerellia peromapteroides was named by Meunier (1908). It is an impression. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN later coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.
It was recombined as Cockerelliella peromapteroides by Meunier (1909), Handlirsch (1919), Handlirsch (1922); it was synonymized subjectively with Dictyoptilus renaulti by Lameere (1917); it was recombined as Dictyoptilus peromapteroides by Carpenter (1964).
