Anthracoblattina ensifer
Taxonomy
Anthracoblattina ensifer was named by Brongniart (1894). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.R51420, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN Brongniart coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.
It was recombined as Elaphroblatta ensifera by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1920), Handlirsch (1922); it was corrected as Anthracoblattina ensifera by Lameere (1917); it was synonymized subjectively with Anthracoblattina gigantea by Schneider (1983), Belahmira et al. (2019).
It was recombined as Elaphroblatta ensifera by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1920), Handlirsch (1922); it was corrected as Anthracoblattina ensifera by Lameere (1917); it was synonymized subjectively with Anthracoblattina gigantea by Schneider (1983), Belahmira et al. (2019).
