Paraeuphylax cubaensis
Taxonomy
Paraeuphylax cubaensis was named by Varela and Schweitzer (2011). Its type specimen is MNHNCu-93.002395, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jaguey Grande quarry J-4, which is in an Oligocene/Miocene platform/shelf-margin reef limestone in the Colón Formation of Cuba. It is the type species of Paraeuphylax.
