Daohugounectes primitivus
Taxonomy
Daohugounectes primitivus was named by Wang et al. (2009). Its type specimen is NIGP 149556, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Daohugounectes.
