Taxonomy
Libanopsyllipsocus alexanderasnitsyni was named by Azar and Nel (2011). Its type specimen is MNHN (# not given), an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Mdeyrij-Hammana (LU collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon. It is the type species of Libanopsyllipsocus.
