Palaeoestes eocenicus
Taxonomy
Palaeoestes eocenicus was named by Kirejtshuk and Nel (2009). Its type specimen is PA 1052, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oise amber, Le Quesnoy, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial amber in the Argiles d'lignite du Soissonnais Formation of France. It is the type species of Palaeoestes.
